Now, let me tell you that I am not very experienced with frogs, snakes and large birds, so you probably don’t want me if you have one of those animals. But, on the other hand, I have good experience with dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, rabbits and guinea pigs.

The Cakery

The Cakery is a wonderful place to find exactly what you need for a party, dance, or maybe just even hanging out with friends. They’ve got all kinds of baked sweets such as: cupcakes, cakes, brownies, cookies, pies and even cake pops! Mmmmmm………my mouth is watering for something that delicious!

The Cakery is run by Kessed Fries (Sounds like Freeze), who is 9 years old. Now, don’t underestimate her just because of her age. This girl can BAKE! I mean, she made some cupcakes one day and I thought to myself, “Yeah…sure, they might be good.” and OH YEAH, they were. They were out of this world AMAZING!

Prices will be verified if asked. Look in comments section for price or ask. Thanks!

The Truth About Juice

Say no! to store-bought fruit juice! Truth is, they’ve got loads of sugar in them! Just one 8-oz glass could contain as much sugar as a can of soda! I mean, seriously, “juice factories”, dial down on the sugar!

But, there is some good news! You can blend your own smoothies!

Here are a few recipes:

Arugala or Spinach, Blueberries and Bananas

Strawberries, (Fresh Squeezed) Orange Juice and Frozen Peaches

Pineapple, Kiwi and Coconut milk

Add ice and blend. Enjoy!

flowers: dyed or fresh?

here’s what I say: Boo to dyed flowers! Dying flowers can hurt our enviroment, surprisingly enough. Here is a great example of a dyed flower:

But, on the other hand, fresh flowers rock! I would always choose fresh over dyed.

fun fact: dyed flowers have a tendency to wilt faster than fresh ones.

go fresh flowers!

Sweet Vel

This picture is of my precious kitten, Velvet, her nickname being Vel. She was a stray, but I fed her and kept her as my own. One day she ran away, and I was devastated. Truthfully, I didn’t know what I’d do without her. Even though I only had her for about a year, she will always be loved by me 🙂 I miss her a lot, but I’ve learned that these things happen and to get used to it. You’ll see this pic a lot on my blog.
